| Lakeshore Dance Centre Dance Team Improving our Dance Program by leaps and bounds! New at Lakeshore Dance Centre is the formation of our competitive Dance Team. We look forward to becoming a major force in Northwest Indiana in competitive dance as we are in gymnastics! 5 Levels of Participation Baby Ages 4-5 Ballet, Tap Miss Ages 6-7 Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz Junior Ages 8-9 Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz Preteen Ages 10-12 Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Character Senior Ages 13+ Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Character, Pointe, Modern Placement is based on age as of August 1st - no exceptions. Age only determines how many routines and styles of participation. Dancers will be assigned to routines by dance ability, not by age. All dance placements will be determined by coaches. Minimum Class Requirements Ages 4-7 One (1) Ballet class per week plus one (1) class in each performance style per week. All team rehearsals. Ages 8-12 One (1) each Ballet, Flexibility, Turns & Leaps class per week plus one (1) class in each performance style per week. All team rehearsals. Ages 13+ Two (2) Ballet, One (1) each Flexibility, Turns & Leaps class per week plus one (1) class in each performance style per week. All team rehearsals. Financial Obligations Regular Class Tuition Convention Fees, Entry Fees and Travel Expenses Costumes, Shoes, Accessories, Team Spirit Wear, Dance Bag and Garment Bag Participating in 1-2 group routines $35.00/month Participation in 3-4 group routines $50.00/month Participation in 5-6 group routines $65.00/month Participation in 7-8 group routines $80.00/month A list of dance necessities will be distributed once costumes have been ordered. Dance Stuf will come to the studio to fill your needs. These fees are in addition to the student's normal dance classes - come in or contact Katrina for more information.
