| IFA Accounts and Fundraisers Lakeshore Gymnastics' WiseWay Certificate Program The WiseWay certificate program is a great way to help offset your costs for gymnastics. The way the program works is that we are given a 10% discount from Wiseway on gift certificates that we purchase from them. The gift certificates are used just like cash to pay for purchases made at the store. As Booster Club members, we pay face value for the certificates that we order. The Booster Club purchases the certificates at a reduced rate (90% of face value). The other 10% is then divided between you and the Booster Club. You will get 8% deposited into your Booster Club account and the Booster Club will keep 2%. We keep a surplus of Wiseway Certificates at the gym for your convenience. No need to order, no need to wait! The Booster Club will keep track of your account balance and you may use it to pay for meet fees, required team leotard, required team warm-ups, USAG fees and booster club dues. If you don't have enough in your account to cover a cost, you may apply your balance towards it and pay the remainder in cash, or just accumulate funds to pay for a future expense. Account balances may be carried over from year to year. Should you choose to leave the organization, any balance that you have will revert to the Booster Club general fund. Your account may not be used to pay your monthly gymnastics fees, open gym fee or annual registration fee. If you have family, friends or neighbors that shop at WiseWay, get them to order certificates from you and the 8% will go into your Booster Account. Upcoming and Current Fundraisers Lakeshore usually has a few major fundraisers each and every year. From a tag day at local businesses to non-invasive and fun fundraisers - ie: no mandatory door-to-door sales. The fundraiser monies are used directly for the kids (Personal team leotards and warm-ups, help purchase much needed equipment for the gym, and help pay your coaches for lodging at away meets, etc.) The Lakeshore Booster Club recently spent over $18,000 on a new Midwest Spring Floor and AAI Elite Uneven Bars! Butterbraid Fundraisers Our Butterbraid fundraiser is always a favorite among the kids and parents. Expect this fundraiser to occur around each Holiday - Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas time, and right before school starts in August! Butterbraids are $11 each and a portion of that goes directly to equipment purchases for the gym. Leotards Leotards are sold daily at the gym by the Booster Club. Prices range from $24 - $35 each and $10 each for consignment leotards. Lakeshore Gear T-shirts and Sweatshirts are on sale at the gym with the Lakeshore colors and logo! Costs are $12.00 for children sizes and $13.00 for adults for T-Shirts and between $18.00 and $24.00 for sweatshirts. Hoodies, Polos, Tanks, Grip Bags, Duffles, and Vehicle Window Decals are also available for quick order. |
